Iguazu Falls, Argentina

This blog post somehow got swept under the rug, I was reminded of it as we are visiting Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. I started this blog post pack in January but must of gotten really distracted. Regardless, I still want to share our adventure to Iguazu Falls back in November.

Before we headed to Iguazu Falls we spent that night in Buenos Aires. I had read that Argentina has amazing steak and heard that La Brigada was at the top of the list of places with the best steak. Luckily for us it was about 4 blocks from our hostel that night. Totally by chance. We headed over around 8pm and found the place deserted. No worries. Everyone eats dinner at like 9pm. We were the early birds. The place quickly became packed as we ate our dinner.

Tim ordered the steak special. He didn't even ask what the special was. Just ordered it. His would be the massive steak pictured below (third one from the left). I ordered the sirloin with mushroom sauce. We both made excellent choices.  You didn't even need a knife to cut the steak.  This was a close your eyes and make incoherent noises while you ate it. By far my most favorite meal EVER. Like in my entire life.

The next morning we made our way to Iguazu Falls. We were lucky enough to find a room directly in Iguazu Falls Park. All we had to do was walk out the back patio and we were one one of the many trails that lead down and around the falls.

During check in we were given this handout and made to sign an agreement that we would keep our windows locked. The best part is that this is has happened in the past and this disclaimer was needed. Can you see monkeys drinking from the minibar?!

Iquazu Falls is named one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world. They are the largest waterfalls system in the world! They are made up of lower and upper falls and span in both Argentina and Brazil. We only visited the falls from the Argentina side but did get up close to them in a boat ride under the falls.

Clearly I can't apply sunscreen on myself very well. You got to hand it to me, at least I tried. (I love a good pun)
