Happenings

Let me tell you, TRAVEL IS BACK! Last month was the busiest month I have ever had! Even before the pandemic.

More than 60% of my bookings last month were new clients referred by you. For that I am so thankful! We have also added quite a few new subscribers to our newsletter.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Anne and in 2016 I left my auditing career behind to travel the world. I traveled to 30+ countries over the course of a year visiting the sights, eating the food, getting to know the local customs, and making unforgettable memories. I still have a long list of destinations remaining. If I haven't been there yet, it is on my list.

When I returned from that trip I quickly realized the corporate world was not for me anymore. I was different. I took a leap of faith, became a travel agent, and started Visas and Vistas Travel. I love helping couples, families, and friends plan epic vacations without the stress of weeding through all the info out on the internet. All this info can be overwhelming and not always accurate. I am here to help.

I specialize in:

  • All Inclusive Resorts- my most booked vacations right now!

  • International Travel

  • Hawaii and Alaska Travel

  • Ocean and River Cruises

  • Luxury Travel

  • Exotic Destination Travel

I would love to help you plan your next vacation. Email us today to get started.

V&V Travel Info

Things are starting to happen in the travel industry. Lots of hopeful announcements came out in the last week.

The cruise world made some waves last week. The CDC made an announcement that cruising could possibly resume as early as mid July if the cruise lines meet certain guidelines. In anticipation, cruise ships are starting to make their move to their home ports. They are mass vaccinating their crew members. They are ready to welcome guests as soon as it is possible.

The European Union announced that they will be welcoming vaccinated travelers this summer. This is a great step but there are still unknowns as to how this will be implemented.

Travel to these destinations may look a bit different than we are used to. Please consider the type of experience you want when traveling. All the sights you are interested in seeing might not be open at the time of travel. Keep an open mind if you decide to be one of the first guests welcomed to a newly open destination or cruise ship.

Trip Requests

Here are some of the 2021 trip requests I worked on this past month:

40th Birthday Celebration in St. Lucia - I had a new client contact me about celebrating their big birthday in the Caribbean. This group of girlfriends are staying on the adults only side of Coconut Bay in St Lucia. They are going to love exploring the island of St Lucia and celebrating their friends milestone birthday.

Disney Family Vacation - This trip is part honeymoon and part family vacation. I had a new client contact me about her honeymoon. After a few discussions they decided on on spending a few days at Art of Animation in a Finding Nemo Suite before heading to Cocoa Beach for a few days of relaxing. They will be bringing their 8 year old daughter as well as the brides sister so that they can have some alone time to celebrate their nuptials.

Hawaiian Christmas - I have rebooked this trip a few times this past year. I think this time it will stick. Grandma and Grandpa are bringing the whole family along with them on this trip. Their children, their spouses, and grandchildren are going to love celebrating the holidays in the cottages at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui.

First Time All Inclusive Trip - I had a past honeymoon client contact me about their next trip. They knew they wanted an all inclusive somewhere in the Caribbean to escape the Ohio winter. They choose a club level swim out suite at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. This will be their first all inclusive resort as well as first international trip. They are going to be blown away by this beautiful adults only resort.

My Groups

I love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?

July 2021- Galápagos Islands. We begin in Quito, Ecuador then spend 5 days island hopping on land and by ship. The ship only holds 16 guests.

February 2022- Antarctica. (NEW DATE) This is my last continent. We will be taking an expedition cruise from South America and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctica peninsula with Ponant Cruise Line. Trip of a lifetime. Can't find anyone to travel with you? This cruise has no single supplement, for a limited time.

August 2022 - Cruise and Land tour in Alaska. We will be sailing on Holland America and spending three days in Denali National Park.

If you are interested in joining me on one or all of these trips, please reply to this email.
